Distributed version control that just works

Bazaar helps you to improve your workflow and ship better code faster. No matter how big your project, Bazaar scales and adapts to meet your needs. Why choose between central and distributed version control tools when Bazaar offers both.

Are merging fears stopping your developers from refactoring code they ought to? Bazaar has true rename tracking for files and directories. It's easy to migrate many existing projects including full history. Unable to migrate just yet? Track projects managed in Subversion, Git and Mercurial using standard Bazaar clients. Fast, efficient and friendly, Bazaar is free to use, embed and extend to meet your needs.

Bazaar 2.0.0 released September 22, 2009

This release of Bazaar makes the 2a format introduced in bzr 1.16 the default when new branches or repositories are created. This format is substantially smaller and faster for most operations. Most of the work in this release focuses on bug fixes, better packaging on Windows and improved documentation. See the Upgrade Guide for information on migrating existing projects to 2a.
